When trying to add some subtitles to a movie, I can’t get them to be recognized and paired with the movie. Although in the logs I can see it picks the files up.
I have the structure like this:
-rwxrwxrwx 1 trever plex 4974 Oct 3 22:13 'Avatar (2009).eng.forced.srt'
-rwxrwxrwx 1 trever plex 109126 Oct 3 22:05 'Avatar (2009).eng.srt'
-rwxrwxrwx 1 trever plex 15429734049 Apr 21 2010 'Avatar (2009).mkv'
And I can see a log of:
Library section 1 (Movies) will be updated because of a change in '"/Volumes/Media 2/Movies/Avatar (2009)"/Avatar (2009).en.forced.srt'
But stil nothing:
I am using the new Plex Movie agent, and previously I know you had to enable local data, but now there’s no agents under Plex Movie and I read that Use local assets: When scanning this library, use local posters and artwork if present. (Local subtitles files will be used whether this is enabled or not) so I’m not sure that’s the issue?
