I am something of a noob at this whole plex thing, however I believe I can accomplish what I am attempting to do. I setup an account with opensubtitles.org, and set up the agent settings as was instructed by the plex instruction page on subtitles. I now try to use subtitles with the web app, and my ps4, and neither show subtitles. I am wondering if I have to download subtitles for each movie, or if they download automatically. Thank you.
I have the same issue. I checked all the boxes in settings, refreshed metadata in my library and even downloaded an external .srt fule, which i put in the same filemap as the .mkv video file and yet there still are no subtitles :neutral:

After doing the step by step as described here,downloading an external srt file there are still no subtitles to be seen…
