The transcoder no longer crashes when burn subtitles is set to automatic. Now the subtitles are out of sync when it’s set to automatic. I still have to always burn subtitles to keep them in sync with the audio.
I would at least like to be able to get subtitles to show up. Work fine on my PC, but using the Plex app on my Roku Ultra….not a subtitle in sight even though turned on, switched, tried them all.
This has been happening to me too, but I don’t think it’s a Plex problem. For me, it usually is the in xfinity Stream that the subtitles stop working. I have to restart the box for them to work again. I don’t remember if they stopped working specifically in Plex, but it always usually happens after using Plex or Netflix.
If subtitles can’t be fixed on Automatic, can you at least change the Always option to follow the Roku settings for subtitles? Right now the burned in subtitles are too small, don’t have a background and are the wrong font and color.
