Subtitles synced but going out of sync after video is paused

As per title, I’m using Plex on Roku.
AFAIK the video plays well however I often happen to pause the video for a short brakes or to finish the movie the next day.

Long story short, the resumed movie often results in subtitles going out of sync, specifically moved forward. This might be 1 second to… any! Last night I resumed a movie which, as about 50% watched, the subs went about 10sec too fast.

I played the same video on my pc and see no issues with the subs.

The video is NOT transcoded.

Any help?

I’ve seen this happen to Ascendance of a Bookworm, which wasn’t encoded properly. I noticed it only on this show. The issue disappeared when I got a different copy. Is it happening for all your movies or only for some? It’s reproducible once you know which file it keeps happening on.
