Hi guys, just payed the lifetime subscription because I naively thought plex syncing would work for mobile devices in the year 2018 since I tried it multiple time back in 2015. Nope.
I’ve been searching on this and seeing odd ball advice like make sure the phone and the plex media server are on the same wifi 2.4ghz frequency.
Can someone either point me to a succinct post on troubleshooting or tell me what to look for in the logs. I’m going to be pretty upset if the plex pass is false advertising, so please someone tell me that sync actually does work for them.
My mobile device says “waiting for download” “Not syncing Connect to wi-fi to sync” yet, here I am, sitting here with the wifi connected to my home router. How else would I be connected to my plex server on the same lan after all.
