I’ve been having the same setup on my Mac mini server for over 2 years. Now, all of a sudden, I’m adding a movie to the Movie folder and nothing happens. Forced library scan, still nothing.
What’s going on with the latest version of the server?
I’m having a similar problem, but with my TV Shows library. Same server version, 1.22.0.4163 on MacOS 10.14.6 (Mojave).
This problem only recently popped up. The weird thing is that it won’t let me see my TV Show library (says there’s a problem loading it), but if I search for the show it will show up and play.
A little late to reply but I finally got it fixed. Not sure what I did because I tried so many things. The other thing I did notice is that sometimes, Plex insists to associate different movies as one. For example, I added Men in Black III to my collection. I already had Men in Black and Men in Black 2. For some reason, the server kept adding MIB III as the second part of MIB1. I know how to connect multiple parts of media but I didn’t; do anything. Men in Black III was just named "Men_in_Black_III and Men in Black 2 “Men_in_Black_2”. Just weird. It really feels that the whole system is still in beta…
