Server Version#:142.2.10156-700010156
Was working as of last night. Today, cannot login to server. Met with “Internal server error; something went wrong on our end”.
This is from any web browser I have tried.
When trying to connect from https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/, it fails in a different way. I am met with a user selection screen, but cannot get past the PIN prompt for the priviliged user.
I have restarted the server and attempted this:
To no effect.
Same here, running Unraid Docker and logging in using a web browser from a different computer
It can be bypassed still. We can connect directly to the server without authenticating by going to
https://{{our_IP}}:32400/web
But I wouldn’t call that a fix.
same, i keep getting errors and then it says maintneince then stops working again….
if it maintenance i wish there would of been a announcement, ever since they went behind a paywall for almost everything and the “new” plex came out it has been flunky as hell for me

After getting into the GUI bypassing authentication (this only works if you have this pre-enabled I think) I downloaded the logs and noticed this:
Dec 09, 2025 15:52:05.379 [139741877373752] DEBUG - CERT: incomplete TLS handshake from [::ffff:{{redacted IP}}]:42192: sslv3 alert bad certificate (SSL routines)
On this I removed any custom certificate configurations, and tried to login again, after saving the changes. It worked.
Either that fixed it or Plex fixed something on the upstream auth pipe. Marking as solution.
