So I, like I believe most of you, use Plex to consume legally obtained anime, movies and TV shows, but also has the benefit of being able to stream my music in high quality, my music library is big about 500GB of backed up albums and legally purchased music. Whenever I add a new episode of a show that I’m watching, most of the time I wanna watch it that evening, but for some reason it seems like Plex decides it a good time to scan my music library and when I try to cancel it, it just starts right up again. I usually end up killing the music library to make allow it to update the library of my anime.
All I’m suggesting is the ability to de-prioritize certain libraries on your servers so either scans stop when other media in higher priority libraries is added or a way to scan less frequently then once a day.
