I use mp3tag for renmaing my mp3 files. I love it because its very small and easy to use and uninstrusive.
Is there something similar for renaming video files? I have some tv shows that need to be renamed.
I use ReNamer. It's not automatic, but it's plenty powerful for renaming all files in a folder, and subfolders if needed.

Not as far as I know, no.
Just another thought that came to mind, Sickbeard (I think), has naming functionality. The benefit it has over something like ReNamer is the Sickbeard will/can add the episode name to the filename. Where ReNamer works better for quick jobs.

also, filebot required me to install java. when i was installing java, something went wrong, and it messed up. I'll need to try again today.
I use Bulk Rename Utility (http://www.bulkrenameutility.co.uk) - no adware etc, very easy install and includes context menu support. I use it for renaming TV Shows episodes in bulk once they are ripped.
