Which renamer do you recommend?

I have several episodes names as SHOW - E00S00 - EPISODE_NAME.EXT

I wish to add the video (and possibly audio) quality to this at the end, e.g. SHOW - E00S00 - EPISODE_NAME - 720P.EXT

Are any of the file renamers capable of scanning the media files and renaming them with that information in that way? Which would you recommend?

Thanks,

James

Filebot, because it just works

I found that Filebot was very slow at scanning my data and that TinyMediaManager was much faster and had a slicker user interface.

Putting the video or audio codec/quality in the file name of the video is kind of pointless if you use Plex. When navigating to the file in Plex that you want to watch, it tells you what audio code is used and what the video resolution is. I don’t see what the point would be.

Filebot is what I use because it’s easy to use and supports music. I also use it because it is easy to automate tasks with it.
