I saw a lot of posts about crossfade on PHT, but none about the web player. Also, some silence detection that jumps to the next track when less than -40dB are left on the track (or something like that) could improve a lot the player.

Early 2021 clean-up:
Given there’s already an existing suggestion on cross fading and there should be only a single suggestion per thread to avoid mixing things up, I’ve adjusted the OP to focus on the silence detection (side note: from what I’ve seen, this is actually available on some players, but not all / not Plex Web).
As for crossfading, please post/comment in the existing thread instead (see link above)
