Hello, sorry for my poor level of English.
Short version:
Subtitles work correctly, but once or twice during a movie, they randomly stop displaying. Simply pausing and playing again (or skipping forward/backward 10 seconds) fixes the issue and the subtitles reappear.
Long version:
For over a year, I’ve had a Plex media server running on Debian 12, and my friends and I use various devices (web browser, Xbox, Firestick, etc.) to stream my media.
For as long as I can remember, regardless of updates, my friends and I have encountered a bug with subtitles — no matter the source (whether from a track inside the MKV file, from an external .srt file, or even when downloaded directly via the Plex web player using the “search” function).
Randomly, subtitles stop showing up — unless we pause and then play again.
With a remote or keyboard nearby, it’s not really a critical issue, but still noticeable.
I haven’t seen similar posts on the forum, so I’m wondering whether this is a known bug or if I’m the only one experiencing it — and possibly even I my causing it.
