Hi,
I didn’t manage to solve a sync issue with my Kindle Fire HD 7. Maybe someone in this Forum has an idea how to solve my problem?
What I like to do is just sync some movies (for traveling) on my Kindle Fire HD 7 on an SSD card.
(Side-comment: I do have a second NVIDIA Shield Tablet where this works fine.)
What happens with the Kindle is, that the movie gets converted, but the download does not start when the SSD is chosen as medium to store the movie. When the small internal storage is chosen, it works.
There are solution proposals to exact this behavior in the internet, and I followed them, but unfortunately to no success.
I let the Kindle format the SSD. The PLEX-client is running from the SSD, so in principle the SSD as such seems to be fine. The second thought was about access rights, but the filesystem the Kindle uses seems to be extFAT.
I am lost why the PLEX client is not downloading the konverted movie to the SSD but downloading it to the internal storage.
Did anybody in this forum have a similar issue and an idea where to look or what else to try?
Any idea is highly appreciated!
Thanks,
Lutz
