Sync items not deleting from server after sync

I have a dedicated 256gb ssd for Transcode / Sync+. Sync items are not deleting from the server after a successful sync. This keeps eating up space requiring me to go in an manually delete these Sync+ folders.

Any thoughts or where can I check in the logs?

Could be file locks. Normally happens on windows. I am not sure about Linux

Could you get a log with both debug and verbose logging enabled to cover completion of a sync and you know the sync is available on the target mobile device

Remember to disable verbose logging once you have captured the server logs

settings / server / general / show advanced

The logs are named Plex Media Server.log Plex Media Server.1.log etc

See
https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/

They would get purged eventually - eg after relaunch of Plex Media Server

I have managed to reproduce the problem on windows but do want to see the logs I asked for on FreeBSD.

I am still waiting for Plex Media Server logs of the failure to delete the sync+ directories for the transcode at end of sync. My logs for the problem on windows is not representative of the issue on Linux / FreeBSD or any other platform

Version 1.13.9 beta has a change to purge any old sync transcode files on launch of Plex Media Server
