Syncing Stuck in Queue / Downloading

I have used my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 for many years to sync offline content when traveling and it always seemed to work just fine. I would download 25-30 shows, 8-10 movies, and off I’d go. When returned, watched media would update and download other content. As intended. Until last week.

I am unable to sync any media to the tablet anymore. Content gets stuck in “Queue / Downloading” and nothing else will happen. Well, nothing good, because sometimes Plex would come to a halt or the tablet would restart automatically.

I have 2 other Android devices (phones) which sync nicely (same content), and they have the same settings as the tablet. So I ruled out a problem with the server. Finally I went as far as to format the SD card again and reset the tablet to factory settings. Unfortunately neither of those actions made any difference.

I attach two screenshots of the info I see when trying to sync content. As said, the messages go back and forth for a while until app or system crashes. It happenned 3 days ago, it happened yesterday, and it happened again today: I am just unable to sync content on this device.

Please post the log files shortly after this issue occurs.

I had this issue once before and the only solution that I could do was to remove the app and start over. It cleared out some cache files I believe that were really messing up stuff. Sorry to hear you are having this issue.

I did just that, not only I removed the app, I reset the whole tablet to factory settings erasing everything on it. Still nothing sigh
WIll try again and post the logs as requested above.

OK so as Murphy would have it , today I am unable to reproduce the issue, and it all seems to be working fine. :smirk:

The only difference is the server version, now it’s 1.20.1.3252.

So I guess this is the end of the thread… at least until it happens again.
