Not so long ago I’ve bought a new macbook with m2 chip and found out that if im syncing media with “plex for mac” app, it does not play offline (shows an error “cannot open this file”) and more of that: all downloaded files disappear from “dowloads” section of the app after its restart (but files keeps in the sync folder on the computer).
In the same time iOS app installed on mac plays synced media flawlessly in offline mode, but i dont have a big ssd to store many items and worrying about its lifespan. If only i knew where this ios app keep downloaded files, maybe ill be able to make an alias to the external drive? Or maybe it is possible to move the app to an usb ssd and it will automatically download everything there?
