Syncronizing per Library Collection Display Settings With per Collection Settings

Hi
First time posting.
I have a suggestion regarding the display of collections in the library. Currently the only way to stop a collection from displaying in the library is to select “hide collection” from the advanced edit menu in each collection. In that maner the collection only shows in the collections tab and the movies are all in the library. This feature is missing from the library editable collection settings which only displays “disabled, show collections and their items, hide items which are in collections”. the “hide collection” choice is not there. The result is me having to go to my collections tab and editing each of my 106 collections individually to remove the clutter from my library listings. Anyway I figgured that its something you meant to do but just forgot.

PS: I love Plex!! Its made my library organization and meta data retrieval so much easier than what I was doing before. An amazing product (and I dont’ say that often). Still need filebot to keep everything in order though.

that is what “disabled” does. you are disabling their display in the library tab, not disabling their existence in the Collections tab

Ok thanks. I assumed that the disabled setting disabled movie collections. Hide collections is much more descriptive…
