I have the Synology 1515+ server that I have been using for quite some time. I recently moved and hooked my server back up. When I tried to link back to Plex, I was running into issues, so I uninstalled Plex and deleted the folders in File Share in Synology. I reinstalled using the Package Center and also tried to install the new version manually from the Plex Website. I was finally able to get Plex to recognize that there was a sever, but it wont let me register the Server and it keeps showing that the Plex version is out of date. Any help or suggestions on what to try would be greatly appreciated!
Currently at work, but I have done that those two steps already. I deleted Plex along with the sahred folders, and then reinstalled manually using 64 bit package. I also tried the 32 bit package, but that didn’t change anything.
On the general settings for the Server, it says the Version Number, then shows Checking for Latest Version, and then says it is outdated and click here (plex downloads) for the latest version.
Yes, I mean Claim the server.
Okay, i’ll try that. Will let you know the outcome. Thanks again!
