Synology 916+ HEVC x265 remote access always buffering

Hi,

Wondering if anyone can help, I’m assuming I have some settings for remote access wrong.

On a Synology 916+ I can remote play on my iPhone and iPad virtually all the file types I want except HEVC x265.

These same files (ie: the x265) work perfectly and play immediately when I’m on my home network but as soon as I try to play them remotely it just buffers forever.

Other file types eg x264 work remotely and on my home network just fine.

Can anyone suggest which settings I need to tweak please?
