Player Version#: 7.0.13.7804-2fd4cda44-Plex (Roku TV)
I recently migrated my plex server from a windows laptop to a Synology DS220+, I mention this because I had no issues with my laptop as the server.
Currently, everything works wonderfully on all of my devices (iphones, computers) - except videos with EAC audio on my two Roku TVs.
When I try to load a video with EAC audio, it gets stuck at 13% until it times out. I have tried skipping ahead in time, per some suggestions, with no luck.
I determined it was the EAC audio files due to the number of threads about it here, and then realizing my other video files all work fine.
I have tried every “fix” that I can find to include:
Unchecking “scan my library automatically”
increasing the size of the inotify table
deleting the codec folder
changing transcoder quality to “prefer higher speed encoding”
secure connections is “preferred”
Not sure if I did the logs correctly, or how to correctly snag them after I try loading the files on the TV, but hope this is correct.
I downloaded and was able to run all of the Dolby samples with no issue. I didn’t see the other two samples until I came back up here, but can try them again tomorrow if needed. I also will have to figure out how to get a sample video made too. (It’s not just one video, but all of my VIDEO 1080p (HEVC Main 10) AUDIO English (EAC3 5.1) files)
What I did for now, is I ran the 4 dolby videos, one of them almost entirely. Then I ran one of my other videos that don’t work until it timed out. I waited a few minutes, and then saved my logs. I hope this helps with the troubleshooting.

So, I just woke up and decided to try something new - for no reason. I turned off my automatic subtitles and it works flawlessly.
No idea why, but also we really like subtitles, so not the preferable solution. It looks like it’s specific to files with English (ASS) only, loading other subtitles afterwards or English (SRT) works fine. Of course not all files can easily find other subtitles though.
