Hello! Love Plex, but have a little issue that’s upsetting my OCD. I’m gradually migrating my music to Plex since my server went live on 11th January 2020.
As i add music, i’m using the Artists → Date Added view as i’m importing my artists one my one - that why i can check metadata is spot on, and the newest one is at the top.
I have this strange issue where three of my artists have now apparently been added two years ago! Server has only been running for almost 3 weeks - so not possible…
It’s not a problem stopping things from working, but it’s playing with my OCD - almost to the point i’m tempted to rip all my music out and start again - however… That means recreating discography playlists.
So is there a way - i can change these incorrect artists from 2 years back to when they were added on 11th January - so 18 days ago.
You’ll see Neds Kru, David Guetta and Eels are listed as being added as 2 years ago - where as say Richard Ashcroft was added the same day, but is 18 days (correct!). The server didn’t exist 19 days ago - so not sure how this has happened!
Is there something i can change either in Plex metadata, or even on the database? (I’m an IT system administrator - so used to working with databases).
