I’d like some help. I used plex on a QNAP server for 10 years. Now we have a SYNOLOGY DS 918+.
I installed the latest PMS version 1.1.18.6.2368 (running)
I’ve reviewed my user settings a thousand times, tried everything, but don’t want to connect my PMS to my plex account on this 34200 port.
I’ve reinstalled PMS at least 30 times and followed the various comments made by the forum posters.
I can’t make it work.

what is it your trying to do?
I would like to register my PMS with plexapp.
The IP address of your Synology is not RFC-1918 compliant.

RFC-1918 Private Network addresses are in the ranges:
192.168.x.x
172.16.x.x -> 172.31.x.x
10.x.x.x
Without it being in these blocks, you will need to SSH tunnel .
I do recognize where the 11 network is. I am willing to discuss in private if you wish.
