Synology DS920+ Unable to Access PLEX from Setup

Server Version#: 1.23.6.4881-6000
Player Version#: Unknown
Synology DS920+

Hello,
Never had plex working on my NAS. Been doing research and different check with different solutions and no go on anything. So far, I’ve done:

  1. Uninstalled
  2. Deleted plex folder
  3. Reinstalled manually
  4. Checked user privileges. Gave admin and plex users R/W capabilities
  5. Checked Java was enabled in my browser (Chrome). Tried Firefox also
  6. Updated my router’s firmware
  7. Opened the UDP/TCP ports for plex through my OS Firewall
  8. Checked to see if ports were open with “netsh firewall show state” through CMD. They are.
  9. Disabled VPN on my Synology
  10. Disabled Firewalls on Synology

I’m all out of ideas at the moment. Not sure where to go from here. No special proxy settings and what not. Just tired of seeing the " This site can’t be reached" prompt in my browser when Synology shoots me to the http://http://192.168.X.XXX:32400/web. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Omega

Thanks for the speedy reply. Still no dice, however.

Ran through the whole gambit and still a no-go :(.

I’m unable to access Plex web. I’ve been staring at this screen all night.

I’ll try IE this time. Already tried Firefox. No dice.

That seemed to get me in! My xml didn’t have secureConnections=“1”. Completely disabled the firewall. I set it up with the correct ports before. Is this a normal thing? Plex users can’t use the Synology Firewall service? Thank you!

It’s not simply a matter of opening up the correct ports?
