honestly? i have 9720 directories and my number is 65536. is that correct? or do i miss something?
The actual number used is immaterial provided
a. it’s an even multiple of 32768 (best memory page usage)
b. has more allocated slots than you need
c. has some room to grow based on your needs.
Everyone has a different total Directories-in-Use count.
My FAQ / How-To specifically states to count & round up, does it not?
In your case, 65536 is fine.

thanks, i hope that stops my plex of just stopping… Every other day it just stopped after rebooting my synology. I could not even restart plex if it stopped, but had to resart my whole synology 412+
