Not "horribly wrong" as you can downgrade to beta 2 (just put it as an upgrade), but still, we're looking into it.

I can confirm that the latest build seems to work for me ;) Can't wait to test it out! Hope that the iOS (ffmpeg) bugs are all fixed!
I'm having trouble with the Agents in the Plex Media Manager, doesn't seem to be working. Not displaying anything in the web interface and no new movies / series are recognized.

That built you gave me the link doesnt want to start, it installs but when i try to RUN it in DSM 3.2, it just stops after 2 seconds, nothing in the log window

I just installed and it starts up fine - but there are no Agents! Tried adding TV Shows but it wouldn’t let me (probably since I couldn’t choose an agent).
Any help?
edit: Sorry, hadn’t seen #227. Sounds like the exact same problem.
Tried loggin into the DSM and go to @appstore, Plex Media Server, Resources, Plug-ins. Here there are a ton of “bundles” - Scanners.bundle, TVRage.bundle and so on.
I’m finally home (couldn’t get my Syno from work), let’s see the last package.
edit: okay, so far I have:
- the Plex Media Server running, playing content, scanning files. So tcviper, no clue why it didn’t work.
I don’t have:
- Agents in the Add Section interface, or data from the Agents. Those ones are busted right now.

Any way of adding media when the Agents are busted? I did an uninstall of the old Plex and new install (probably shouldn’t have…)?
Yes, upgrading would have worked.
After checking with Tobias, we have no clue why the Agents (and just the agents) are failing. Maybe something thread-related.
Tobias will probably fall back to the old environment. In the meantime, I'll just keep the beta 2 package a while longer.
So the solution is to uninstall, install beta 2, install new official?
or just install beta 2, install new official when it's out, or the current one from Tobias (but Agents are not working, so no episode title or whatever).
"Downgrade" (upgrading to beta 2) works.
Sorry about all this guys, btw: I was all happy about auto-builds, but it seems that the DSM is going the "bitchy" way by not behaving like any other Linux distribution.

After uninstalling SERVIIO, Plex seems to start fine now 
Now we just have to wait for the meta agents fix and were all set!
I’m REALLY looking forward to a stable (close to bug free Synology package). Currently i’m missing:
- Meta agent support
- Support for sharing with other iOS devices

As far as we saw, yeah.
Really, the non-starting stuff is all due to the same "bug source": trying to have the package auto-built like its Linux comrades.
And of course, the Synology DSM is all "nyeeeeh, I don't wanna, compile me with very specific stuff". :(
Tobias is on it, but since he wants to keep it as of now for other environments, it can take a while.
And I can't make a beta package with the current binaries as it will fail as of now.
Right now, it's Beta 2, and no ETA for the official one.
The only positive side right now is that when it's fixed, next releases will go faster.
