Synology update 1.13.7.5369 has broken trasncoding

Player Version#: WebOS, android app, PMS osx, web (all latest)

Hi, last night my DS918+ updated to the newest beta version (along with other maintenance tasks) and didn’t come back online so I had to restart it.
Now I am unable to do any transcoding with the error “Conversion failed: the transcoder exited due to an error”

I can’t seem to find anything that really points me anywhere useful in the logs (they don’t seem to show any errors).

and the transcode folder is changed and creates files. But I never see any of it on the devices.

I can direct play/stream fine. Additionally I am able to do conversions using sync on android and they convert and trasnfer over fine).

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Automatic updates from the Synology app store are a common problem.
If it updated automatically from Synology, it will install the 32 bit version.

Please do the following:

  1. Manually download PMS from plex.tv/downloads
  2. If this fails to provide restoration of PMS, Obtain the logs manually.

File Station

Plex / Library / Application Support / Plex Media server
Right-click Logs and Compress to Logs.zip
Attach the ZIP file for me to inspect

I think I may have sorted my issue. I reinstalled the spk ( 1.13.7.5369) and restarted.

I also turned off ipv6 as I saw it mentioned in another thread (but do not know if this helped).
I deleted and recreated the tmp_transcoding folder that pms was using on the NAS.

If this issue comes up again I will post full logs
