Synology Update Plex Says stopped

Updated Synology DSM to Version 7.3.2-86009 Update 3

Now Plex is not working just says Stopped only option is to uninstall.

To add to Chuck’s reply,

Synology forced packaging changes with DSM 7.2.2.

If you updated DSM from 7.2.1 to 7.3.2, you need to install a different Plex Media Server spk file.

  1. Download the DSM 7.2.2+ package from plex.tv.
    https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/?cat=nas&plat=synology-dsm72

  2. Uninstall Plex Media Server.
    When prompted, choose “Uninstall Only.”
    This uninstalls the application. The Plex Data Folder and media are not touched.

  3. Install the DSM 7.2.2+ version of Plex Media Server.
