Hello everyone!
I want to tag my collections into genres but it seems like that dosen’t work.
So I mean if I sort my library by genre: Action then I want my John Wick Collection to pop up.
I guess this is hard to fix since you can’t do it right now?
I could make a new library for every genre I guess but that just seems very odd…

I recently moved about 20 ‘Genre Libraries’ into 1 Magnum Movie Library, so that Actor Search (images) would work for all my Movies (got tired of waiting for Plex to fix that).
The result was tears 'cause to drill for Westerns on my Roku takes 31 clicks - we can’t have that.
My ‘Genres’ (and such) are now Collections.
Isn’t that what you really want?
…and if so, you’ll be running Plex the way it was designed - apart from some pretty serious Collection Abuse. <—that, so far, is working out quite well. <—if I could get a Letter Stack - and an Amen.
You can’t add genres to a collection. The items in a collection can be from multiple genres so a single one for the collection wouldn’t match it’s contents.
