TCL 55C815 lag when playing

Player Version#: Last android app installed

Computer serving files via Plex/Emby is an high-end configuration. Stable local WiFi 5Ghz connection, 2 meters range
Plex configuration : stock. Only tested with and without new video player

Details on movies played in tests

Seems to lag when playing h264, but h265 is fine.
To compare : mi box tv runs fine all tests
To precise type of lag : every second the imag stuck, light freeze, and go on. No loading icon appears.

Direct play : lag

Transcode : perfect

isn’t direct play supposed to be better when possible ?
