TeleText subtitles stripped in DVR recordings

At some (earlier) time, Plex DVR would faithfully record TeleText subtitles, then it stopped doing that, and then it came back, but at some point it stopped doing that once more. Now I have four movie channels that uses TeleText subtitles, that I can’t record (properly) with my Plex DVR, so have to use other means, if I want to retain the TeleText subtitles.

Why did you (again) remove the TeleText subtitle support from DVR recordings? Could you please reinstate them (once more)?

Do you have PMS set to transcode the recording? Those embedded closed captions only exist in the original mpeg format.

No, I haven’t. And they exist in the Transport Stream (which is what Plex saves). It properly saves the DVB subs, but not the TeleText PID. It has done so in earlier versions.
