These are special episodes, some between season one and two, last three episodes after second season. But I cannot find how to rename the episodes in order to Plex locate them. Them dissapear as long as I call them “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Special 1x11”, “Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken - Coleus no Yume 1x01”…
Sorry if my doubt is stupid, but I’m new at this and this is my first time having trouble with naming animes.
Find out whether the episode numbering of your files is more in line with TheTVDB.com, or with TheMovieDB.org.
Edit the “Episode Ordering” in the properties of either your series library or the individual series accordingly.
In my screenshot, I’m using TheTVDB: 転生したらスライムだった件 - Unknown - Specials - TheTVDB.com
The episodes in the Specials season will appear in “Continue Watching” according to their Originally Aired Date.
Change all the season and episode numbers of all the videos which are not in line with that.
P.S. these are all recap episodes and IMHO are quite useless to have on a personal streaming server. I for one am seriously considering to get rid of them, as they only annoy me with scenes which I have already watched.
Considering that nowadays one is rarely waiting a whole week before watching the next episode (which was the case when the series was originally broadcast), there is simply no need to brush up one’s memory.
Thank you so much, OttoKerner it works perfectly!! I was using the other naming way, with 1x0N, and specials like these where difficult to categorized. I changed the name of the files as you told me to one ending by s00e11, s00e12 and s00e13 and then it appears in Plex Media Server after re-scan library.
Thanks again for your time and for your quick answer
P.S. Yep, some episodes of that kind are useless, but others are funny, and I want to have all of it storaged in order ^^
