I use a Draytek2926 Router, under the routers Nat Menu I do a port redirection on Port 38716 to 192.168.100.251 which is my Terramaster NAS which is running the Plex server.
In plex I set up
Private 192.168.100.250 : 32400 Public 5.198.54.242 : 38716 Internet
Manually specify public port Enable

This works when I have the network secure connections set to disable, and not when its set to preferred.
it used to work with preferred but it stopped, I think there must be a bug in plex as when I switch it back to disabled it starts working remotely again. for the remote apps I have tried removing and reinstalling them still the same, nothing has changed, all that happened for this to stop working was that I once changed it to always and then to disabled and then back to preferred, never worked again, I have restarted the nas, restarted the plex server service in Linux, cant work it out, preferred is supposed to not care if with or without, but it acts like always now.
Can someone help please.
