What we mean is this:

• Plex is allowing for certain tasks to be performed outside the time you’re usually using Plex. This is to avoid some CPU intensive task to impact an ongoing stream (e.g. if the CPU is busy with that background task, it might not have enough power to transcode).
• You can configure when this slot is supposed to be and how long the server might allocate for those tasks… this is basically because not everybody is working/living in the same rhythm.
• If the slot is too short and there’s a lot of work, Plex will have to split it over several nights (and will therefore take much longer to finish the job

Settings > [Server Name] > Scheduled Tasks has 2 options to specify the timeframe (=start + end) when Plex is allowed to do those tasks. If the timeframe is short or if there’s too many tasks, one timeframe might not be enough and the server will have to continue the next day.

Maybe you only recently changed that configuration or you had a particular large amount of files to be processed. There can be a lot of reasons.

Right now we can only guess.
You haven’t mentioned if you have e.g. changed the timeframe for the scheduled tasks or how many movies had been added recently.

In any way… if it’s now working, we should be good.

It’s not about the size of your files.

Before we go to the next loop…

1. What is your current configuration in for Time at which tasks start to run and Time at which tasks stop running in Settings > [Server Name] > Scheduled Tasks?

2. How many files have you added to your server in the last few days?

Something with the century 200 and the time is set to do tasks from 00:00 a clock to 23:00 a clock.
