The Guide is empty

It’s back. I’ve tried everything. Removing the tuner, delete Plugin Support DB files, rebooting 5 times, etc. Nothing worked. Tuner is working fine, am able to manually browse to HD homerun.

Apr 15, 2020 19:39:26.038 [0x7fe0759e9700] Debug — EPG[xmltv]: Total time to load EPG was 0.4 (HTTP details cached 100.0%, CloudFlare grid cached: 0.0%, 0 HTTP errors)

How the hell do I remove the cache?

Nevermind I found your stupid tv.plex.providers.epg.xmltv folder. I wasted so much time on this. Your live tv sucks so bad and it’s all cache related. In the very least make it easy to delete cache. ■■■■ you Plex.

Would you mind doing everyone else who may have the same issue and explain how you fixed it?

No figure it out on your own

I did exactly this:

EDIT: Fixed my issue

  • Shut down Plex Media Server
  • Deleted the Following Directory:
    • C:\Users\ USERID \AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Cache\Http\tv.plex.providers.epg.xmltv
  • [11/13/19 Note - I don’t think this step is necessary anymore] Deleted the EPG and DLNA databases in this directory
    • C:\Users\ USERID \AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases\
  • Started Plex Media Server

Except my setup is on a Linux distro. Depending on your operating system, you may need to configure permissions. SSH and root should work anyway.
