The Guide is empty

Server Version#: 1.19.3.2764
Player Version#: Not applicable
Tuner Make/Model: HDHomeRun CONNECT Duo
Guide/Lineup name:
Using XMLTV?: No
Channel number/Name: All Channels missing

I had this happened about a month ago, I was able to get the guide back by deleting the DVR from “Live TV & DVR” settings and delete the Cloud cache.

Then about a week ago I noticed the list of channels got a lot smaller. Then last night all of the channels disappeared. I went back to deleting the cache and from the DVR settings and even deleted the EPG, DLNA and CLOUD database.

Still cannot get the guide to come back. Even though it’s says that there are “73 channels - 69 enabled”.

How do I get my TV guide back?!?!

Steps I did to try to get my guide back:

Stopped Plex Media Server.

Deleted the Following Directory:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Cache\Http\tv.plex.providers.epg.cloud

Deleted the EPG, DLNA and CLOUD databases in this directory

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases\

Started Plex Media ServerPlex Logs.zip (285.8 KB)

Bump…Anybody from Plex to help fix this?

Check your database directory to see if you have been getting any database backups every 3 days, looks like database corruption.

I’ve took a snapshot of my Databases folder, there are backups of every 3 days. But, not all of them.

Does this looks good? What to do to fix it?

I would give it one more day to see if you get a backup of the com.plexapp.plugins.library.db before going down the repair road. It may be your previous attempts have clobbered the local metadata and Plex would be better to answer what to do next. I only use the DVR so saving off the db’s, uninstalling and purging the plex program directory then rebuilding isn’t much effort.

Repair Database Instructions if you need them. Plus the repair options aren’t for the blobs db, only the main db.

Updated Plex server to 1.19.3.2831 and the guide is back. Hopefully it won’t disappear again.

That was one of the fixes in 1.19.3.2831 was to fix a incomplete epg download.
