With the laster android player it will not show ass subtitles. The ass was fine in the version before. Also fetching srt ones only work sometimes. and if you try to type anything in search windows the on screen keyboard will hide the search field, so you can’t see what you type.
Another problem with AndriodTV14 and player version 10.26.0.2578.
File with french ass wont play english srt, it’s still show the french ass, although understandable its very beautiful but I cant understand it.
The workaround for all my ass problems is to change the subtitle setting in the player options to always burn subtitles.
So in short. Burnt ass is not as good as native ass but better than nothing I guess.
Hope Plex fixes this ass problem.
