Hello, I activated that option under Web Client—General
and first thing I noticed was the main page was different, it didn’t show my libraries.
So ofc I disabled it. Later I found that our own library isn’t the homepage which is dumb, since I only want to see my files and not some random stuff.
So my suggestion is to make our library the main page, or at the very least make it optional

The new interface is highly customizable. You can pin your libraries to the new side bar and control what items are seen on the home screen. See here for details:

It just takes a little getting used to.
Well, I can’t have it like the old one… I can remove all the web shows and stuff, but can’t add my libraries in the homepage.
So I’ll just stay with the old interface.

Fair enough. Keep in mind though that the 1.18.x Plex Media Server releases include version 4.8.x (or later) of the web client. And, in those versions, the new interface is mandatory.
I installed 1.18 on another device and it would seem I can get very close to the old one.
But one thing I’ve noticed is that when sharing libraries with users, the list in the selection area is not what I have reordered it to (I have it reordered to: movies,tv series,music,photos; but it displays series on the bottom because that’s the one I added).
Is there a general area somewhere I can reorder the libraries to they are always displayed that way? Or will I have to remove all libraries and add them again the way I want?
The sidebar can be reordered manually. ‘Reorder’ should be in the context menu of every item in the sidebar.
I’m not talking about the sidebar. I did that already.
The issue in my last comment is when sharing libraries, they are not ordered like I have them. Instead it’s just the way they were added…
You cannot control the order that Libraries are shared in. Once those libraries are shared with the user, the user can organize those libraries however they like.
