I have been using a PLEX server (NAS Qnap TS228) for several years and Raspberry Pi versions as clients (I currently use version 3B the most).
Unfortunately, over the last year, it has often happened to me that this combination does not play media for me, and after a repeated problem with the certificate, I decided to switch to KODI (where media that PLEX did not play for me played without any problems).
Unfortunately, even after two months, I didn’t like KODI, so I want to return to PLEX.
So I have a question:
The system built by PLEX didn’t play a lot of media that KODI played without the slightest problem. Therefore, the HW of the clients and the network should be OK, but the performance of the PLEX Server was insufficient. I know NAS is no hit, but is it really the cause of the problem?
