The problem on the old TV Hisense VIDAA MTK5651

Server Version#:1.25.0.5282
Player Version#:Plex for VIDAA 3.13.14

Hello everybody
I have an old Hisense 1080p TV on which video from the server does not play through the VIDAA OS and the Plex application.

Since the Plex for VIDAA 3.13.14 application is old, then I installed the server version 1.22.1.4271.
The application starts, I go to the menu, select a movie and nothing else. I see an error in the logs
“Unable to find client profile for device; platform = VIDAA, platformVersion = MTK5651, device =, model = Unknown”

When I installing a new version of the server 1.25.0.5282, the Plex splash screen is displayed, and then a black screen and nothing.

Tell me what could be the problem or what compatible version of the server you need to install. The app cannot be updated on TV.

code if I install server 1.25.0.5282

First rolling back your server that far isn’t going to help with an old TV that has an out of date app.

Second posting snippets of logs like you have doesn’t help anyone to troubleshoot what may be happening, you should always post the full application if possible and server logs in a zip.

Third your problem is almost certainly related to this → Important information about Plex for smart TVs after September 30, 2021 - Announcements - Plex Forum

You can either try the steps described in the post as a workaround, or what I always suggest is invest in either a new Chromecast with Google TV or if you want the best possible option the Nvidia Shield Pro(not the tube though).

Not related to outdated certificates as described here Important information about Plex for smart TVs after September 30, 2021.

This issue happens only for Opera TV users.
Same as this problem Got an unexpected keyword argument 'emulatePartialCNP'.

Temporary solution: use version 1.22.3.4523 or any other <1.23.
I think it’s possible to figure out what have changed, but it’ll be far more easier if this will be done by somebody with source code.
