Then it is DNS rebinding protection, which might be active in your DNS resolver (usually the router or the firewall). Sometimes also in the web browser. Try another one.
Then I’m afraid you need to look for an alternative firmware for this device (which of course leads to loss of warranty and support). Think Tomato, dd-wrt, open-wrt etc.pp.
I worked it out and it was not the router issue but Synology NAS issue not having the dns settings as you sugguested

here is what i did to fix the issue on the Synology NAS
Go to Control Panel > Network > General and tick the Manually configure DNS server checkbox, and then set the DNS server value to “8.8.8.8” or “8.8.4.4”.
Now it works so suggest if people have a issue to change router to googles DNS and also the NAS system they are running.
