The Server [Name] Is Unavailable

Server Version#: 1.18.3.2111-5a96726d0
Player Version#: Plex Media Player 2.46.0

For the last couple days I’ve been having issues with my Plex server wherein it’ll be accessible for approximately an hour immediately after a reboot, but then it will suddenly be inaccessible via both the player and via the web interface until I reboot the system again.

Additionally, it appears that when this occurs I’m unable to close/restart PMS because it ends up leaving a zombie process that never leaves my Task Manager (I’ve even tried using Process Explorer to totally kill it to no avail.)

Has anybody else been having this issue the last few days? I’m not sure if it’s the result of a PMS or a PMP update, but since I’m running Win7 x64, I’ve not been able to use the integrated “Plex” app on this machine for some time.

Yes there’s threads with this issue already. Do you have music on your Plex server?

Is the server remote?
Then it could be the router which removes the automatically created port forwarding after a few hours. You better move to a static, manually created port forwarding.

I do not. I use this server exclusively for video files.

No, it’s not. This issue is occurring on the very system on which I have the PMS installed. I do have clients on other systems, but they aren’t seeing it either,
