I’ve found it difficult to find official information on how Plex counts “skips” for music tracks. The only “official” word I’ve found on the subject is through a reddit thread linking to this Play Counts & Skips thread. This thread says a skip is counted between 2 and 20 seconds in to a track (that’s at least 40 seconds).
However, this does not seem to be the case in my experience. It appears skips are only counted if you skip a track between 15 and 30 seconds in.
Could this please be changed to 2 seconds to 30 seconds? I don’t think it makes sense to have to sit through 15 seconds of a song before you can skip it and for it to count as skipped.
