The subtitles displayed in iOS are "mostly" italic or bold or both

The Plex app for iOS displays all subtitle as bold or italic or both even the SRT file doesn’t have those tags.
This happens with considerable probability.
Whenever it happens, I should close the app and open it again 3~5 times to get normal subtitles. It seems like that the app decide the attribute of subtitles randomly.
I am using the Plex app in Windows and Apple TV also. But this occurs in iOS app only, iPhone and iPad.
