The TVDB api seems to be down and has been for about 24 hours but i cant find anything about it on their website. Plex and filebot dont work at the moment so i know its not just plex. Does anyone know anything about this? also this isnt the first time this happened so maybe we could get the Dev team to look into adding another TV api like TVMaze for situations like this.

As for using a different DB, you can already do that. You can either change your library to use The Movie Database in its settings, or perform a fix match on a problematic show and choose it there.
yeah i know you can use TMDB but its still missing shows i.e. Cosmos(2014). also i looked for other forum posts about the outage and i didnt see anything, i guess i didnt look that well. Thanks for the quick reply.
