The Vow 2020 docuseries not showing up

The show is recognized on the sonarr/sabnzbd side but for some reason is not pulled into Plex. Any ideas ? Mac server 1.20.1.3252-a78fef9a9

What are your filenames and paths on disk?
Do you have show, season, and episodes named per the guide?

A screenshot or example of your file naming will be very helpful!

Thanks-- that is the show. I have many tv series and have not changed the naming scheme and it follows the guide. I have even taken an individual file out of its folder and placed in the root tv series folder. It popped up visually on the dashboard for a second and then disappeared. I was wondering if it is being associated with another tv series maybe ? maybe like how Onward and Ava movies were awhile back. The name scheme of the files are below. thanks again.

I also noticed thetvdb.com entry for The Vow that the Status is ‘Upcoming’ even though it has aired 2 episodes. Don’t know if that matters or not. thanks.

I made some sample files with this structure:

The Vow
  Season 01
    The Vow - S01E01 - The Science of Joy.mp4
    The Vow - S01E02 - Viscera.mp4

Do you know about Folder view? It can be great for this. Instead of viewing by “TV Shows”, “Seasons”, or “Episodes”, try viewing by “Folders”.

I found that had matched into Salem (2014), a show I don’t have.

I renamed the show to “The Vow (2020)” and it matched perfectly.

I don’t think it’s ever harmful to include the year in the show folder name.

Yep – that was it. Adding ‘2020’ to the folder and then re-linking it with Sonarr made it all better :slight_smile: I was wondering why it was spending cycles scanning the intro of Salem (which i do have). Thanks again !
