Just started working with Rasplex on a RPi2. It's snappy and fast, I like it :)
There are no theme's pre-installed on the Rasplex.
To have a library on screen available when you press the "get more" button just like in OpenElec does not work :(
I've found out that I need to download them manually and put them here: 1/ Put the folder in `~/.plexht/addons` 2/ Reboot raspberry 3/ Apply skin from 'appearance' menu
But what kind of theme's are supported? OpenElec theme's? Plex theme's? Both? Or none of these?
Only those themes created for Plex Home Theatre, check out the Skins sub forum, particularly recommend Plex Black Edition, absolutely brilliant for Rasplex, you may find a few of the others won't work as development stopped on them some time ago.
I just tried that theme and the text is mostly unreadable on any background image, especially a light one, before playing a movie. The preferences menu is the same way.

Did you look at changing the settings. In any Library or pre play screen, move left and select the cog to adjust settings. There are many, many options in this skin to personalise it to your own taste, read all of the posts in Releases.
