Mind sharing some more input?
Are you missing content from Plex’ video-on-demand service, is your previously added content not showing in Plex, are you stuck during the setup process of your new Plex Media Server or is this about something entirely different?

From the few files in your log it appears you haven’t created any libraries on your server to add your content to Plex.

I had deleted the library as it was not showing new content at all. I have created the new library name Movies and add the content using local videos. but it is not coming up in the library at all

Not sure if it helps i tried to browse the whole directory and change the view to folders. It is showing all the folders but not the video files under. Also it is only showing the previous files that were added when i created the library

According to your log, Plex was scanning 3 different libraries:

  • Movies
  • Music
  • Photos

From what I see you have pointed the Movies library either to E:\ or to an individual movie folder (E:\Avrodh.S01.2020.1080p.SonyLiv.WEB-DL.AAC.2.0.x264-Telly\). Plex is not overly fond of both scenarios.

If you have a dedicated drive for that kind of media, make sure to store the media in an actual top-level folder for that media inside that drive.

Do not link individual movie folders – while this might still work, it’ll be wonky and you end up with tens or hundreds of “folders” to be monitored by the library. Instead link to the folder containing the movies (remember… folder, not top-level drive letter).

Example:

E:\Movies\

Your logs don’t contain any details about the scanning itself (either there’s been no such logs or you had trimmed the content of the zip file). From the folder name I take it you’re actually dealing with a tv-show – not movie files. And while the folder name is quite adventurous (when it comes to the naming recommendations of Plex)… I suppose the underlying episode files follow some basic tv-show naming with a season/episode pattern.

When it comes to that, please be aware that Plex is quite strict when it comes to what content should go in what kind of library. Files following a tv-show naming schema will be ignored by a movie-type library and files following a movie naming schema will be ignored by a tv-show type library.

Here’s a support article describing how to name your files for Plex to recognize them without hiccups or too much manual meddling. If you have a lot of files to deal with, there’s apps that can deal with re-naming them for you (e.g. Filebot).

Got it thank you for your assistance…it worked
