Media Files not discovered at all after a re-organization

Server Version#: PlexMediaServer-1.32.8.7639-fb6452ebf-x86_64_DSM7.spk
Player Version#: N/A

I’ve come to the end of my digitization of my media library. Now, Standup, Live-shows(music) and Docu’s are the next, and I made a library for those.
When I added a library, I mistakenly made it as “Other Videos” - and the scan found my 2 (for now) folders with a Standup show, and a Live music documentary. As the icons was all wrong, and no media was correctly linked to it - and as I scanned the net, I saw most people organize it under “Films” category. So, I deleted the library, and re-created it using a similar name, and pointed to the same folder.

Unfortunately, it found nothing. I did the “plex dance” - moving all files out of the folder, restart the server, and moved files back in - but it cannot find anything.

I can find the shows on TMDB,

But it does not react…

Any ideas on how to get it working?

Thanks,

Jon.

If Plex previously found the files I. A different library, that implies there’s no issue with the file permissions.
This leaves file naming and organization as the main obstacle. Especially for tv-show based content you should take special care they’re properly named and organized!

Thank you for the suggestions.

I have now a “Films” library, and named the files according to movie setup…

\Standup\Jeff Dunham - Arguing with Myself (2006)\Jeff Dunham - Arguing with Myself (2006).mkv

Using naming from themoviedb.org.
So, it shuld be correct and sufficient to identify the correct one.

Thanks.
