Trying to run the DVR setup on a plex server version 1.7.5.4035 on a windows 2008 server. I have a Hauppauge WinTV-quadHD in a Windows 10 machine. I removed the WinTV8 from the system as suggested on another post. It has the latest drivers and the card was working when the WinTV8 was installed. Verified that the drivers were still present by running their Product Information program.
The scan itself does not find anything. If I enter the IP address I receive the error “There was a problem adding the device:” followed by the IP address.
Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this issue?

@bbubulka Thank you for the response. I checked the Playback and Recording devices and it is not listed as an option that can be selected.
Did Windows find the driver for you or did you install it? If Windows found it, try downloading the driver directly from Hauppauge’s website.
Installed Plex Sever on the Windows 10 machine that has the TV Tuner card and I was able to setup the DVR configuration on that machine.
