I am trying to setup the DVR with a Hauppauge WinTV. I setup the WinTV and it was working fine with Hauppage’s software. I was unable to get Plex to discover the device during setup. I tried uninstalling Hauppage’s software as I saw there is a conflict, but that didn’t help. Is there something I am missing?
Did you check that your Hauppauge WinTV card is actually a supported card?

I’m also having issues with my Hauppauge WinTV-dualHD, Plex cannot find it. The USB WinTV is installed on a machine running Windows 10 and my Plex.tv is running version 1.7.3.3937
What do I need to do in order to get this to work?
Thank you for your support

Yes the device is supported. It is the second one on the list.
Adding myself to the list of failures, Hauppauge WinTV-quadHD was listed as supported, found that info on website indicating it works earlier today and chose to buy the plex pass for live tv just for this, seems to me that when trying to add a dvr plex server tries to locate a networked tv tuner so it would be nice to find out how to have it scan or detect an internal PCIe tuner such as this card is, as of now it just keeps scanning network endlessly and no tuners found, has anyone had success with one of these?
Update: Got Tuner card to work by installing this version (Plex-Media-Server-1.7.2.3910-beeed73f1) that was located in a link on another thread, a quick search should pull it up for anyone else wanting to give it a try.
Would you please post a link? I searched what you put in parentheses and I only got this post.
Anyone else have any ideas to get this working? I PMed daddysmad asking for a link to the download, but received no response. I haven’t been able to find it.
I posted on the thread above with how to figure out the name of the download you want to revert to. As long as you know the URL for the download for current version for your OS and the previous version information you are reverting to you can build the correct URL to use to download a prior version.

Thank you for the help. I tried using your method to download the file that the previous member said worked for him, and when I pasted the file name provided I got a bad URL. I replaced the file name, but left the .exe part at the end. Any thoughts? Is there another method of support? I feel like I am spinning my wheels here.
I want to thank everyone that tried to help, even if I still haven’t found a solution to my problem. Thanks for giving it a shot. If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate the help.
I think someone else had posted a bad version number, entire version string did not match what I had for my filenames. Did you look at version numbers I had I the thread I linked to?
The newest update fixed the issue for me. Thanks, everyone.
